In this episode, we discuss the value of one-on-one discipleship and the steps on how to go about it. Now, more than ever, we are to bring the gospel with people who are not born again or who are unsure of their salvation. Often, people don’t know God in a personal way.
Hebrews 4:12- For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Weakness of the Flesh:
The Christian’s Battle With the Flesh:
Romans 7:14-15, 18-19
The Christian Needs to Become Aware: Matthew 26:41
In ministering to others or serving God, we are not sufficient of ourselves, and nothing is to be from ourselves. That is the flesh. “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”2 Corinthians 3:5-6
One of the reasons the flesh is hard to understand for many, is that it is so ingrained into our thinking before we are saved, so that we are blind to it until God reveals it to us.
The emotions and self-will of the person are involved in the flesh and hearts before Christ, so that it is hard to then become aware of it. It is easier to see the rebellious or the flesh that causes you to sin or do wrong.
