Overcoming Stress and Anger God's Way

The rapture is a wonderful promise. God has not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation. Let us conduct ourselves based upon the reality that at any moment of any day, we could suddenly be caught up into the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ!

This Truth Brings Comfort:

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words" (1 Thessalonians 4:17–18).

This Affects How We Live:

"Beloved, now we are the children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure" (1 John 3:2–3).

This Mans We Live With An Urgency to Share The Gospel:

"Therefore … be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Because of what we are seeing in our culture and around the world today proves we’re living in the signs of the times (and the times of the signs!). There is a place for the end times events and eschatology in Biblical Counseling. What does the end times have to do with biblical counseling?

Jesus said if you see these things begin to happen, look up. Your redemption is drawing near. Look to the heavens and be reminded. This is what you, as biblical counselors, remind those who are in the biblical counseling office. It is important that we have a strong understanding of our position in eschatology.

Everything is going according to plan. When people get anxious, nervous, fearful, and worried they can see the scriptural timeline that God is in control. Because we have the scripture on our side to teach these things, we need to what’s happening around us and compare it to the Word of God.

What is your position on eschatology and biblical counseling?
